64 bit to 32 bit

My Win 8.1 is 64 bit. When I go into control panel at top I see 32 bit.
Does that mean this machine has both? If so, How do I convert
to 32 bit? I have a couple softwares that only run on 32 bit.

It's either 32 or 64. It can't be both.

And you can't switch it...you would have to reinstall whatever version you want.

32 bit programs should run on a Windows 64bit machine, but not the reverse.

Lefty has some 16-bit programs.
