Islamic terrorism needs to eradicated ASAP, both here, the rest of North America, and throughout The World.

But this probably won't happen anytime soon in this once proud, great country as long as we have Islamic supporters, sympathizers and enablers such as Obama and the rest of the Democrat Party, along with the blind help from the stupid, weak, compromised clowns in the Republican Party.

do you realize how many guys are wanting their 72 virgins?

Let round up 72 virgins and say they can have them as soon as they kill 72 of their comrades and bring us their heads.

Of coarse,...I volunteer to keep an eye on the girls...

Interesting.
Personally, I find it boring. Maybe that's bad, but with what ISIS is capable of It's just a scratch.

I've moved away from the board more and more. I'm sure that pleases many.

I am using Facebook and twitter and have lost my taste for some on this board. That' says it as plain as I can put it. I still do tech support via PM's for some. I'm just moving away on purpose.

I follow twitter for news etc ( which is where twitters real value is) on national news and horse racing. Especially the horse racing. There are a few guys from this board on twitter and the live play, interaction in almost real time is much more enjoyable, when it comes to racing. They put up with me, but it's much more fun. Things have changed.

It was like watching grown-up news.

On a very frightening and horrific day for Canada, Mansbridge and his CBC colleagues did their jobs with dignity and respect. Andy Carvin is right. We could learn from their example.

Hopefully, they will take this seriously and not call it needless violence like our POS N Chief calls it.

It is war - they had better understand that. We don't.

Good luck Canada.

Late Wednesday, Obama addressed both attacks after speaking with Harper.

The president stressed they "don't yet have all the information about what motivated the shooting" and whether "this was part of a broader network or plan or whether this was an individual or series of individuals who decided to take these actions."

Obama added: "But it emphasizes the degree to which we have to remain vigilant when it comes to dealing with these kinds of acts of senseless violence or terrorism."

He said it is important to recognize "that when it comes to dealing with terrorist activity that Canada and the United States has to be entirely in sync."

Absent was a direct reference to the gunman in Wednesday's shooting being a terrorist.

Earlier in the day, perhaps reflecting a desire not to get ahead of Ottawa in describing the attack, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said he was not "in a position to render a judgment" on whether the attack was terrorism.

By contrast, Harper was unequivocal in declaring in a televised address late Wednesday that the attacker was a "terrorist."

They know how to do some things right up in the Great White North. And with some style.

Kevin Vickers, Sergeant at Arms of the Canadian Parliament.
