What do we need to know about the investigation?
The most important thing we need to know is what did Mueller know and when did he know it?
Did he know there was no collusion BEFORE the midterms?
When he found it out, why did he not shut down the investigation, having achieved the goal of the matter?
When he knew, why did he not release that info right then?
Clearly, as the report is Part 1 and Part II, it was independent of the other part.
THIS is what we need to know.
SENATE needs to call him in to testify.

Russia approached his campaign multiple times to meddle in the election and not once was it reported to the authorities. Then when finally investigated he doubled down on the lies all the way to when he was finally exposed.
