I am not saying we should attack then, but we should treat them the 4th Reich and be prepared, unlike Chamberlin, to not allow step one to take place without serious repercussions.
I mention Goebbels because of his warped views of Jews.

The whole region is full of people that cannot be trusted. Tell me the Saudis are any better? Just a complete mess, they all interfere in each other's politics and secretly send money and weapons. Not a region that you can rely on anything positive to happen. It worse in the coming years, as the Saudis seem
to be looking for a fight with Iran. The same guys that can't win a civil war next door. Hopefully we are not dragged into it too far.

Careful...
Saying crazy stuff like Israel and Saudi Arabia stand to benefit the most from a US/ Iran conflict gets you labeled round these parts.

John Bolton does...
This is calculating policy to back them into a corner where they have no other option than to break with the Treaty and begin building a deterrent.
I'm not really sure what the end-game option the Administration see's here. Every time we've gone down this path it strengthens the hardliners.
Feel like they are counting on some outcome that historically hasn't materialized.
I agree though that we don't/shouldn't want a war with Iran... compared to our recent conflicts its a pretty heavy lift.

John Bolton is known for his strong support for Israel, that is outstanding in my book. elysiantraveller has told us Israel is a racist country, and we are right on our way to catching up with them. I qualify John Bolton as an expert, and the other guy I will leave to you and skip a red card.

John Bolton is the archetype neoconservative.
I know that policy... we all should... we had it from 2000-2012.
If people want some more of that...

What should we want more of, oh great one?
According to you:
We don't want Trump's border policy.
We don't want Trump's trade policy.
We don't want Trump's economic policy.
We don't want Trump's foreign policy.
Incoherent (according to you) as all four might be...if all four are balls-deep stupid, why is the country continuing to hum along pretty nicely?
Is it the "just wait, disaster is just around the corner," or is it "because of the Obama-genius of the prior 8 years?"
