Horse name change

So I had a horse on my watch list from earlier this year, his name was Gallantry, had been working strongly for Pletcher in Florida & was entered to run mid-February but was a vet scratch on race day. Now I checked my list & I see the horse's name has been changed, no idea when this happened, but now he's listed as Lost Sorrow.

I know controversial names may get changed when a horse is of racing age, but having already worked & been entered & with a pretty innocuous name, any ideas as to how or why this horse's name changed?

Furthermore, if he did ever come back to the races his profile would certainly be raised, as he is the older brother to Princess Noor.

If anyone cares, I called the jockey club out of curiosity & apparently you are allowed to change a horse's name as long as it hasn't started yet. I figured once you hit the entry box your name's a keeper, but guess not.

Colin Stakes winner, Fozzie Bear's name was changed at the request of the Muppet people who were never contacted before that one ran.

it costs $200 to change the name, but you can't if the horse has already run even if you want to pay $2000.
