For next time this will be fixed. I had it set to conditionally format bold the top 3 figures but I did it using the LARGE function. Unfortunately, I now realize that it finds the third largest number, not the third RANKED number, so ties in aren't counted.

I've changed it up using RANK and now just the three best figures will be highlighted.

the filly had a science fiction number, and if she brings that race to the track she will blow away TIZ THE LAW

Too early to think Preakness showdown?

Gamine vs. Tiz the Law?

Interesting note, Beyer has Art Collector at 103 and Speech at 98. By his own charts the filly should be three points higher on final time. Possible the new charts have changed a bit but certainly not an eight point swing.

I'm not knocking his figure, difference of opinion obviously.

hard to believe that Venetian Harbor ran better or as good as Swiss Skydiver, just visually it looked like she was struggling in her race.

She ran some blazing interior fractions. Speech lost by a nose to Gamine so I think she is quite good.

Speech 101, not 98, think that was Swiss Skydiver. Still a breakout but more like 5 points instead of 8.

To see full size, right click and select "Open image in new tab." Interesting year, the fillies look as fast as the colts.

Here is a link to the spreadsheet itself if interested:

Thanks for the update.

I was waiting to see how the last two preps panned out re: TFUS.

Also, the distance for the EP Derby needs to be changed to 9f. It was 8 last year.

Thanks, I'll fix that! (Plus the Shared Belief which was 1 1/16 this year)
