Though this was a really good series on the history of the Mariners, not a fan of theirs but i do still enjoy baseball and found this to be very well done. It's 6 parts.

Thanks! I will have to check this out. Been a fan of the team since the beginning including watching from the right field stands during their first game ever (shutout by Frank Tanana and the Angels). I am curious to know why they are so fascinating. Frustrating seems like a better word.

Most wins in baseball and highest WAR (Fangraphs) 2000-2003...but seemingly not quite in sync even then.

Randy J. left in '98, Arod gone after 2000, Ichiro on board the next year. Edgar steady, but Olerud 18th in cumulative hr's at the 1b power pos...Buhner near the end, while Jamie Moyer and Freddy Garcia were the only accomplished starters during the period.

But I am looking hard at catcher Tom Murphy for sneaky HR's, if this
season/fantasy draft takes place.
