Bris Question on Time/BL

Was playing with the Bris PP Generator. One can set the styles to display the time of the Bris winner.

Anyway, I saw the following in which two horses were entered in the same race as follows:

Horse #1 - lost by 3.75 lengths. Bris fig - 89 or a 72.0 Bris speed
Horse #2 - lost by 4.75 lengths. Bris fig - 88 or a 72.1 Bris speed

The winner's bris fig is listed 95 or about a 71.3 (in tenths speed)

Horse #1 - -6 Bris points
Horse #2 - -7 Bris points

This is about 1.47 points per length for Horse #2 and 1.6 points per length for Horse #1. This also translates to about .187 for horse #1 in actual time and .168 for horse #2 in actual time.

Seems to show the wide variance in rounding with two point speed figures.

I thought the value in points for beaten lengths at Bris was 10 divided by the distance in furlongs.

So, five furlongs = 10/5 = 2
10 furlongs = 10/10 = 1

...and so on. I picked the easy ones of course.

Hey Sec, long time.

FWIT,
I did a lot of work using Multicaps to come up with BRIS speed and pace charts.

This is what I have for those speed figs:

95 - 111.43
89 - 111.46
88 - 111.28

At 6F, the conversion is (-0.12) *SR + 121.83, with an R(2) value of 1.
