Earplugs or not...today It's "Laurel".

It's actually laurel.
It says here that if I hear "Yanni", then I might have younger ears...and I believe this to be true. A couple days ago while listening on my phone...I heard the word "Yanni". But the gradual aging of my ears over the last few days now causes me to hear an unmistakable "Laurel". Who knows what I will be hearing in a few more days.

In any case...I doubt that I hear "Laurel" because I have a hard time hearing high-frequency sounds. I can, unfortunately, still hear Larry Collmus's race-calls just fine.

Watching the BE Susan coverage on NBCSN, and I swear, when they show the finish of the Derby, I am hearring Larry say,"YANNI has won the Derby!"

In the link in Post #9, I always hear Yanni.
Elsewhere on the web, I hear Laurel at every site I try.

I'm 65, heard "Yanni," and my ears have been exposed to shooting range noise for decades. My ears are fine. The wife says I hear what I want to hear. I have no idea what she means.
