I would suggest the readers of this thread check out these again, if you glossed over them before. The first one links to the second one. The high school atmosphere of these wealthy, white, privileged kids is one party after another, and sexual escapades and passing out are celebrated in the friggin' YEARBOOK.

It is inconceivable to me that one incident could be singled out as so traumatic, so bad, that it could be remembered 35 years later with any kind of accuracy, when it seems like par for that particular environment. How it got this far is a better indication of Dem desperation than it is a knock on Kavanaugh.

A former classmate of Christine Blasey Ford recently posted on-line "The incident DID happen, many of us heard about it in school."

She now says that she had not heard about it in school, and had no idea whether it happened. But she posted on her Facebook that she knew about it because she thought it probably did happen.

"In my [Facebook] post, I was empowered and I was sure it probably did [happen]," Miranda told NPR. "I had no idea that I would now have to go to the specifics and defend it before 50 cable channels and have my face spread all over MSNBC news and Twitter."

Of course she's calling for an FBI investigation. She knows there is absolutely nothing left to investigate, other then to interview the two principles involved (well, we THINK Kavanaugh might be involved, then again, she can't seem to get her facts straight).

Anyhoo...what exactly, should they investigate? Maybe get some DNA samples from the location where this supposedly occurred? Maybe take some samples from under her nails? What exactly should they do to investigate an alleged groping incident 30+ years ago?

Short answer is, they have nothing to investigate. The Senate could easily conduct as good an investigation as the FBI could at this point. There are no forensics to study.

They invited her to come be heard, it doesn't seem like she wants to show up on the date cited...she should just show up on Monday and testify.

Calling for a useless FBI investigation is nothing but a stall tactic.

Exactly Tom. she fabricated this whole story because she believes (in her own mind) that she's saving the country from a fate worse than death. Her whole agenda was to delay, delay, delay, the confirmation. Swearing under oath was never part of her plan.

On Friday Kavanaugh met with the committee and swore, under oath, that he was innocent.

The dems are threatening to impeach him after they get back a hold of congress. He didn't commit a crime because of the Maryland statute of limitations, but the dems can now get him for perjury down the line.
