$100 Derby Challenge 2018

Tom started a thread like this last year for those who wish to place a mythical $100 bet on the Derby only for bragging rights. 098poi won last year hitting a $25 exacta! That would have paid over $4200. There seems to have been a lot of talk on the triple crown board this year and tempers seem to be rising over disagreements on horse so here is your chance to show everyone you are a better Kentucky Derby handicapper than they are.

You can spend the mythical $100 however you wish, but bets are to be made on the Derby only! Tom, hope you don't mind me starting the thread this year, all credit goes to you for a great idea last year.

In another thread, a certain annoying poster was referred to as a Richardhead. Kind of funny actually.

Wow if you hadn't posted this I would have forgotten all about it. I had ZERO recollection of that contest as I was thinking of asking PA if he was going to have one. I wish I knew my method for last year. My handicapping changes about every 3 days. I always discover something new and it works great, until it doesn't!! I will post my picks once I get the PP's for HSH.

I will swing for a big trifecta:

$1 TRI
5, 14, 16 with
5, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16 with
4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16

3 x (6-1) x (8-2) = $90

And a sentimental exacta to hedge bets:

$1 EX BOX
10 with 2, 4, 8, 12, 19

(1 x 5) x 2 = $10

Good luck!
