The crisis is over, Obama to the rescue. He is sending Eric Holder, the post-racial Attorney General, to Ferguson to deal with the problem.
He also stated that he would be keeping an eye on the Governor's use of the National Guard to make sure that they were doing their job correctly.
Quote:
Mr. Obama told reporters at the White House that he had talked to Mr. Nixon and expressed “an interest in making sure that if in fact the National Guard is used, it is used in a limited and appropriate way.”
“I’ll be watching over the next several days, to assess whether, in fact, it’s helping rather than hindering progress in Ferguson,” Mr. Obama said.

Yeah, first order of business, shoot looters on sight, ask questions later.

Kudos to Obama, the Master Multi-tasker.
He showed he could be a totally ignorant screw-up both internationally and locally at the same time. No clue what is going on in Iraq or Ferguson.
Clearly a biased speech, though.

At least you seem smart enough to realize the worm is turning in this case and that laying 100% blame at the cops feet would be taking a precarious position. BKS on the other hand ...

That is not the question. The question is how much would it take to convince you the cop had acted illegally. For some here it would take far beyond a reasonable doubt. Others would never be convinced no matter what the evidence.

How about some evidence?
All we have right now are a number of conflicting "eye-witness" reports. I assume that none of them are accurate, including the cop's. Everyone filters their experiences.
You have already filtered your 2nd- and 3rd-hand information into accepting as gospel that the cop shot the guy without remorse, and that the cop was a racist with behavioral problems.
The cop may have acted illegally. But there is no evidence one way or the other. Anyone that says otherwise is acting on faith, not fact.

What if Brown had killed someone before? Change anything?

Perhaps a video or a series of photos, something like this:

You're JUST AS terrible and as racist and as horrific as the people you rail against in the above reply. You automatically assume the cop assassinated this suspect because of his skin color. You know little of the facts in the case, but here you are, automatically assuming a man was killed simply because of the color of his skin, and the color of the cop's skin.
You're no better than those whom you hate on this board. No better. Not one bit.

No, it's just that on this subject you're just as dumb as they are, unfortunately. Read what I've written. None of you get that it's not about this individual cop, whose motivation will always be subject to debate.
Your reference to Brown as a "perp" shows your hand.
Meanwhile: answer the question if you want to contribute something meaningful.
