Actually, I think I saw where neighbors came to the aid of local stores - protecting them? Been too busy on the Million card to watch all the TV today.

if citizens keep screwing around and make the law pure politics everyone will lose. Cops need to enforce the law and the news media and everyone else should stay out of the way.
We expect cops to be lawyers and today I got an email from change.org that wants cops to wear cameras and audio equipment, even to a gun fight!
Tell the cops to stay out of those areas and let those people police themselves and let us see how that works for them. let them wear cameras and audio equipment and walk down the alleys and confront the thugs.
what do you want to bet their tune will change.

I think I have it figure out why the conservatives so upset with the protesters. They aren't quoting Thomas Jefferson right and left and they aren't carrying flags with a snake saying "Don't tread on me". Maybe if one the leaders would throw in a few words about how high the corporate tax is, the right would come rallying to the side. After all, when you get right down to brass tacks, it is about what the protesters consider an oppressive government action.
