Caught a bad case of bronchitis last in Vegas when I was there for the NHC. Took me 5 weeks to recover. I hope you and Dan feel better soon.
Is there a vaccine for bronchitis?
The last time I went to the clinic for a checkup, the nurse wanted me to get a pneumonia vaccine, which was news to me. I declined, like a do flu shots, but maybe next year will consider it if the risk/reward ratio is favorable.
For now, I just try to avoid most contact with humans....

Be sure you get a chest xray. A good friend of mine had been treated for over two years for chronic bronchitis, she is now a eight year lung cancer survivor.

Until this year. Record levels of flu in the northeast.. my wife and I tested positive for it in January. Plenty of other family too. Wasn't the biggest deal, got the Tamiflu and felt better in a few days.
Now enduring Round . This time it's packing more of a punch. I'm fighting back some serious nausea as I type this, and it's not for the usual reasons
Anyone else fallen prey this winter?

Yo Dude, You're at zero rep. points again!
Now I have to give 20 other people rep. points, then wait for you to
post something constructive, so that I could give you another positive.
The flu is an evil disease. It tricks you into not eating so that it can defeat you.
So, eat well, drink plenty of water and take asperin for fever or pain.
Avoid Tylenol, as neither the Flu or Tylenol are good for your liver.
Hopefully you and your wife will get better soon.

Got the chest x-ray; normal. I don't know of any vaccine for bronchitis - mine was treated with antibiotics.

Fantastic
Caught it new years eve , my wife and I were down and out more than 6 weeks
Terrible doctors here in FL. kept prescribing different antibiotics .
My lung Dr said my lungs "sound clear " next day Xray revealed I developed pneumonia.
Wife developed an intestine disease that is caused by overuse of antibiotics

I never fail to have sinus problems if I spend any time in a Vegas casino. I was on antibiotics for two weeks after the NHC. I don't care how much air they are moving. Breathing in particles that come off cigarettes is unavoidable. It may not affect everyone, but it certainly gets to me.
