Made breakfast sandwiches for everyone this morning (2 cups of strong Community Coffee always provides the needed motivation)...
Saute' pan with onions and peppers, garlic, bacon, andouille sausage (dat's right...2 kinds of pork)...guess I'm making a western omelette sandwich.
Had a few beaten eggs on the side...when the stuff in the pan is sufficiently cooked you just drop the egg right in there with it. No need to fold it over into some fancy omelette; just cook it all.
Toast a few kaiser rolls and lightly brush with chipotle mayo, spatula (that's a verb) some of that goodness onto your bun, toss a lil cheese on top, gitcha some hash browns...sorry, i suck at hash browns so we buy 'em in the store...
here, take your fargin' sandwich and shut up cuz I gotta study for Saratoga!

Pulled or stressed something in my back early this morning...can barely move. Need to go out to the local Ace Hardware to get 2 50lbs salt blocks for the water softener...may have to wait. Other than that, waiting for Arlington Park's races today. Was there yesterday in Tbwinner's owner's box.

I used to live in Bartlet Illinois. Would visit Arlington a lot. I do miss it. Nothing like being there.
After saying that, I'm excited about the new magazine nightstand I ordered for my office, handicapping central. It will be on my right side when facing my monitor. It will hold my notes and books when I cap and write my code. Ready to go.

Went to the casino for my little brother's 21st birthday. I was his Big in Big Brothers. He's off to Western Michigan University this fall as a junior after community college. I didn't gamble at all. I won $14.00 yesterday from Ellis Park and wasn't going to give it to the casino.

Went to Walmart.
Bought a waste basket, and they put it in a plastic bag.
I carried it home, took it out of the bag and sat it in the corner.
Then I threw the plastic bag into the basket.
I feel balanced today.

Saratoga only carded two dirt routes during the first four days of the meet (the CCA Oaks and Evan Shipman, both at 9f) but had a few moved off the turf on Monday.
I see they have about 3-4 two turn dirt races scheduled for Weds-Fri...i like that. Always had success with the one-turn Bel routes to the two-turn Sar routes...some horses clearly prefer one to the other.
