Have to fix the toilet later today. Got to go to Lowe's for a new handle first.

Mine showed up at 4am today!
I opened the back door to let one of the other ones out and he hopped down off the roof and ran inside!

Pretty hungry, but other than that, seems just fine.

Better Times

I went to a funeral two Wednesdays ago, and believe it or not, it was awful. I was out of sorts until last Friday, when I left for a wedding. This was the antidote.

A winery in Sonoma, great food, great people --- the majority late twenty-something and beautiful. The bonus was having lovely Susan Guevara at my table. Children's book illustrator, fifty-something, very cute, great dancer (I should know; I watched) --- she has a bola toda.

Anyweigh, after designatedly driving ... and driving ... and driving, I made it to bed before 5:00 a.m. ... I think.

Got in trouble Saturday while dining and listening to a band play at a lakefront restaurant. I had my light colored sunglasses on and when the babes walked by I was checking them out thinking no one could notice. My wife told me not to stare. I said I wasn't. She took my sunglasses off and put them on her face. Oh no, I could see her eyes. Oh boy!

It wasn't that bad. In case of emergency, I have a sofa in the family room.

really glad to hear that Tom. To give an update on Johnny, things aren't looking too great. He's happy right now but he's a very sick little guy and may not get better.

restructuring at work today, from functionally organized teams to product organized teams. Have heard of, but never worked in such an environment. Will be interesting.
