When I lived in SoCal I used to drive by the alley where he killed his first victim in Riverside, on the way to the OTB. I have read a lot, and watched a lot about the case. I think there was only one SoCal victim that was tied to him much later. I remember the headlines on the front page when I was a kid.
I think he either died, became disabled, or was incarcerated for other crimes. No way that guy stopped killing out of free will. Another one I find intriguing is
D.B. Cooper. I think he died in the jump, possibly landing in the river in a tangled chute and drowned. Since evidence found rare metals on his tie for the time period, it probably points to him being a supervisor or engineer in an aerospace facility. Why did someone not question when such an employee vanished without a trace?
