Rest in peace. She was 79, Stevie Nicks is now 74, how the hell are these people getting so old?

That's horrible news. Had a crush on her when I was a teenager.

Damn……I’m getting old
Love that song in the vid.
She wrote it herself. I’m guessing the Royalties and licensing on that tune will go on forever.

I was not a big fan of the band or Stevie Nicks, in 1975 I was on Boston Common for a summer concert with Joan Baez. I had a thing for long dark hair and olive skin at the time, first entering the workforce the Super's and Middle Management were Fleetwood folks. Prior to working 70 hours a week and drinking way too much beer many around me were playing gutars and not the softer sruff. A good friend grew up with Donna Summers and was tight with Mayor Kevin White of Boston and many of us got near front or 3 or 4 rows back at all of concerts on the commons or City hall Plaza free concerts. I was in the Chinese buffet right behind the arches in Bostons chinatown when the Mayor reconized our coworker and picked up our tables tab. In 1985 Kevin Flynn was Mayor and the same connection to city hall seemed to exist with our coworker. Boston was very different back then and I miss it. It seemed everyone who went to Boston Colledge that was management loved Fleetwood.

Fleetwood Mac was started in 1967. I remember many of their greats from when I was going to school. I liked this video ...

I never had a type. Only qualifications was at least average intelligence, you could not be taller or heavier than me. I am 6 foot tall and was never under 200# when I reached full height. I had a girl I ended up living with I met when she worked at a Long's Drugs. When I talked to her at work I noticed in tennis shoes she was close to my height, before I asked her out. I go to pick her up and her 4" heels make her 6'2". I told her to change her shoes, and at first she thought I was joking. I told girls later on down the line that story and many aren't amused.

I will be stuck at a desk bidding work and programming for damn near a week, I am on day 3 of that. Normally would be 2-3 days work but due to trying to rehab a badly sprained wrist I am typing one handed. Been listening to a lot of Fleetwood Mac. I think I underrated them back in the day. I liked them but never even considered them for my top ten. There are some bands I did not like at all in High School and college that grew on me. Kiss was one of those, so was Def Leppard.

Back in the days before Dr Anthony Stephen Fauci and the AIDS crisis it was very normal for me to have many different ladys with me in a car with the stereo on with local music station on, it did not matter but whenever REO Speedwagon or Fleetwood Mac came on the channel got its buttons pushed and not by me. If you could dance and clean up well to go to weddings you were in. Kind of strange, ladys not looking to get hitched but just the ride.
