A Muslim extremist groups name is being tossed around but a lot of this still doesn't make sense.
The group is Tamil so it could be seen as an effort to restart the Civil War.
Also Christian's are a relatively ignored minority in the country anyway so the targeting is confusing.
However the level of sophistication doesn't point towards an external group like AQ or IS... or any other really for that matter.
Plus they would have likely taken credit by now.

It makes sense when many radical Muslim groups follow the 'kill all infidels' doctrine. Kind of a my way or the highway (to heaven). Even when the Christian population is 9%, that is 9% too many for them.
Of course it probably wasn't a group at all, just some crazies.

I'm not sure what their MO is but the fact they are Tamil could be the larger issue than the fact they're Muslim.
If they even did it.
