But that's why you and almost everyone else thought Trump had absolutely NO SHOT to win in the first place. And you all were wrong.

So why should we believe you now? Because it hasn't come true yet.

OK. We'll see. One day, you'll be right about Trump and the Republicans.

I remember, not too many years ago...when Obama was elected and the Dems took over Congress, YOUSE GUYS were all saying how the Republican party was essentially DEAD...for at least 100 years...that's what one of YOUSE said on this very board.

How did that prediction turn out?

Not only weren't they dead. They took back Congress...and you now have TRUMP as President.

Good job man.

You talk about senior citizens when you have Bernie and Hillary as your candidates?

In fairness I would argue that the selection of Trump as nominee and election to President is proof the Republican party is dead.

Consider the 2016 candidate John Kasich who had no traction at all in the election primary, this suggests in all fairness your political views are dead.
It is guaranteed John Kasich will represent many of your old republican ideas when he runs again, it is also a virtual guarantee he and those old ideas will be like a dead raccoon that no one will take to in the next Presidential election.

Punitive tariffs have never worked. They result in increased cost of living to consumers and in loss of American jobs. Trump's tariffs are no different than others that have failed in the past.

Why will none of the Trump fans here address that issue? Most of Trump's economic advisers have said the same thing, but he ignores them. Why will something that has been a disaster in the past be an economic miracle this time?

I don't know what point if any you are trying to make here... for the past 20-30 years the conservative belief was one if limited government and pro-capitalism. That party is dead now. Trump may not be the cause but he's certainly an indicator of that.

You want to be for big government, massive debt, and anti-capitalist thats totally cool. It just runs contrary to the Republican belief of the last quarter century.

Lets be really real here, President Donald J. Trump is going to stick it to China.

All of those containers at our ports filled with cheep shit from China are going to turn into trillions of dollars in tariffs. Business that have gotten a free ride for many years are now faced with buying American stuff to be part of their products or paying more for what goes into making that product sold here. This is just the very tip of what will be expanded greatly. Garbage from China should cost more, junk products can be made here inside these United States and free up our clogged ports. Nothing you or I say will have any effect on what is to be, its just going to happen.

Everything you espouse has been done and now something else is in the works. Your just the commercial that will be played on television that will fail, lets just see how the next two election cycles play out.

President Donald J. Trump has achieved 63% of his agenda goals inside of his first year, there is plenty of time for that old slag.
