Here in Central Virginia in the heavily democratic cities and counties mask wearing in public is probably 90%+ on average. I was in Alexandria, a liberal mecca a few weeks ago and I swear I saw one non mask wearing person in 100. In rural counties that lean right depending on where you are at you might see a peak of 50% in a large chain store and as little as 10% in the mom and pop stores off the beaten path.
Bearing all this in mind if you look at the new covid case charts mass usage seems to make absolutely no difference. In fact Alexandria's spike is a lot higher than the rural county I live in.
So why are some entities forcing mask wearing on people? It should be personal choice. Just like the vaccine. In a Democrat's eyes they are fine with getting rid of an unborn child, but won't let you get rid of a mask. How does that make sense?
