We make comments about the Industry and people who work within it all the time. When you go and attend some of the meetings and meet some of the people you'll understand a little more about how things work. IF I go again it's more of a vacation/trip that's gonna cost a couple thousand bucks.
I went a couple years ago. Glad I went but not sure about going again.

I know Charlie through Ron Charles and spoke with him the last time I went. Super nice guy. Crist and Beyer were on my email blast for years. Met Beyer decades ago when he used to come to Del Mar during the summer. I was walking around the 4th or 5th floor and he was walking towards me. I said Hey Andy and put out my hand to shake his we shook hands and I said "you ruined my life" and we laughed. I doubt he'd remember that but I will.
I like Beyer and Crist cuz they're old school and the understand takeout and horseplayers issues as well as anyone.

The Good: We're making money from the idiots who continue to wager
The Bad: You're the idiots
The Future: We'll continue to take your money until it's all gone
Saved you $550
