she seems bitter
janice blake is not a good rider and the main reason she rides 100-1 shots. With
that attitude i would never put her on my horse.

Hey come on now.
"...Of course, I'm sure riding a longshot is far beneath him. It can't be THAT far beneath him, as he's so short to begin with...."
There are a few gems in there.

Two mounts in all of 2016, zero this year.
'nuff said.

The comments made me go read. I'm going to take a wild stab here that maybe this gal brings about a lot of her own problems with that mouth of hers.

Hey Chris, there was some MEATY statements being made there and entire PIECES could have been created out of just one of the more juicy topics she brought up. You should have ridden the wave she was creating...

Sounds like she wants to drain the horse racing swamp.

I thought the interview was as real as real can get when it comes to a female jockey expressing herself as someone trying to earn a living in trade she apparently enjoys very much. It’s unfortunate that the various nuisances she’s experienced has taken its toll on her morale.
All in all, her comments would fit very nicely among so many of the very positive viewpoints conveyed here on the PA forum.

Janice, if you're reading this, come post here. We're here to listen.

You should think so, because they are. They've been married for many years.

Proving why the National Inquirer and other similar rags are about the only print publications still going strong.

Not defending the male jockeys or minimizing her experiences with them, but you only have to look at her own timeline to see that most of the opportunities she got in the racing business were from males: trainers, jockeys, and riders:
Tom Poulin, a dressage teacher
renowned dressage master, Walter Zettl, from Germany
Earlie Fires taught me to break from the gate
offer to gallop sale babies for Eddie Woods
Went to Maryland and got a job with Dickie Small
got a job galloping babies for D. Wayne Lukas
I went to Belmont Park to gallop for D. Wayne Lukas

She just sounds unfairly bitter at this point.
