Heard his gallop today was not ideal and he was all lathered and tugging.

My first thought this morning was that I was glad I was not on his back!
Certainly not professional looking.

Frosted looked like this a couple of years ago in his pre Derby gallops. It will be interesting to see if he continues to behave this way in his work tomorrow. Sure looks like he needs a work to help take the edge off.

A lot of differing opinions out there on what these last two days mean for Always Dreaming. Differing descriptions of the moves too. Is he happy and full of energy or being difficult? Is this just the way he acts galloping in the morning or is it something new and different, and thus concerning.
I'm not exactly sure what to make of it. But I'll say this, if he's this keen and headstrong when the gates open he's probably going to be in big trouble.

DRF clocker Mike Welch said today that Pletcher is concerned about AD's antics, so this is probably something new from the colt. It looks to me, he has behaved like a pro in his races.
Agree if he pulls this in warms up to the Derby and the race itself, he would have to be tons the best to beat some of the other top Derby colts.

I will private message you if you want ...but I'm not taking any bashing from the forum ...
I don't know squat as many in here ....
I look for patterns of previous ITM and 4th Place finishers in the Derby since 1985 ...
I shared this with someone already but we were unsure of its value because of the research which is involved ...
Let me know ...
I respect your views and knowledge ....
