I'll take Serling's horse . Looks to get lead and keep it as it's wont to do, although I'd like to see more wins. I'll add place bet accordingly.

The taking a lot of money given the uncertainty. The has upside but I don't want to pay less than 2/1 for it. Juicy Jerkens angles on this one though.

Race 8

I expect the outside runner will go and keep the speedy honest. Both should give it up late...taking a bit of a silly shot (like I usually do ) with the who should get a dream trip today. Inside just off the speed, gets the jump on the big closers.
10-1 is a bit too low for me but I'll key underneath the in exactas and make a small win bet

r9 Curlin S.

Outplay breaks well from the gate, and Johnny V. should be able to control the pace here, on the lead.
Good news = there aren't any good horses with early pace to challenge Outplay.
Bad news = Outplay just isn't that great of a horse.
I guess Pletcher is doing better now than he was for the end of the Belmont meet.

You're To Blame is the best horse in the race. However, he'll have to race from off-the-pace, and catch the 2nd best horse in the race- Outplay while likely to be against the grain.

If sucks, and is too much against the grain, someone like the Everybodyluvsrudy could capitalize. Everybodyluvsrudy is a scrub, but he's an opportunist, and his run times-up well with where Outplay tends to switch to the left lead late.

Also will be interesting to see if Javier relaxes from post 7 until they get through the first turn, or if they opt to go wide and sit a bit closer today.

don't forget that 1, under your 2!

Let's try the in Race 2. A bit overlooked, could get the lead and keep it.

Exciting race riding in the first 2 races. They might as well have just gift wrapped both races to Pletcher.

about to head my tack back to socal....this fng circuit.

so I liked the 2 at 12/1, that is now the 4th horse i liked who was double digit morning line odds to go off at less than 4/1. 2 of them won of course.

I didnt bet the 2 cause of the odds....and thank god cause that ride was brutal. how do you bet these two races the way the rider grab and hold their horses? or the passive holds of horses during the middle of the races which the internals say they should be making a move.

its a crap shoot to me and since they run 60% of the races (non rain days) on that surface it feels like a real waste of time and money.

Race 3

HEAVY CHALK should be right there.
I didn't love that she lead on a soft pace, on the rail last time, and then had to herd to keep it close. She did face a better horse last time.

Ortiz/Nevin last-out winner is the only other horse taking money. I'll toss here for questionable value.

alternatives =
, my 'a' alternative. Chance to set the pace. First off claim RD. At 8/1, I don't need any more models than that to use.

my 'b' alternative. Several decent efforts, a chance to be used aggressively 6/1.

The awfully short and nearly as good at huge price by comparison. Can win tracking or on the lead. Could get a little hot up there but I don't see a viable closer.
