Sessions looks like a lock for confirmation

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/1...rmation-231602

If he gets confirmed, then it looks like everyone else will. All they need is a Senate majority and it would take a Republicans defection-which still could happen with all of the republicans who opposed Trump in the election. I thought Sessions would be the hardest sell.

I think so too from what I saw today. Appears to be a good choice.

Rejecting Cabinet nominees is rare. It's only happened 9 times and the last one was 1989. (John Tower for Defense Secretary).A lot of times, if there's a potential scandal or a drag out fight expected, the nominee wihtdraws. The Democrats will make Sessions squirm to send Trump a message they won't be pushovers, but they don't have the votes.Knowing that, some Democrats living in highly liberal states will vote 'Nay',just so they don't have it come back and be used against them in the future.Part of life in the swamp.

Also Sessions was a Senator, he must have built some personal relationships with Senate Democrats. He gets 60 votes , at least..

Sessions offered some alternative facts today in a statement made after his swearing-in:

“We have a crime problem,” Sessions said at the White House. “I wish the rise that we’re seeing in crime in America today was some sort of aberration or blip. My best judgment, having been involved in law enforcement for many years, is this is a dangerous permanent trend.”

Here is Sessions' "dangerous permanent trend", FBI violent crime stats since 1990:

What is it going to be like to have a 'real' attorney General for this great nation. The two previous Obama choices were racist activists as part of the plan of dividing this nation.

I agree...This nation under BO's judicial watch, imo, has been racially re-polarized as anything, since the sixties and seventies.....

And, I believe all that was very intentional, because that is what commies do to get closer to the agenda, which is "chaos", leading eventually to...."total control"...
