In looking over the Saturday BC PPs, Harveys Lil Goil and Diamond Oops are the only 2 that could be considered "versatile". War of Will doesn't quite make it.

If Art Collector had targeted something like the Hollywood Derby (and won) rather than the BC, he might have fit the bill, at least at a lower level.

Sharp Samurai fits the bill as a versatile bridesmaid.

She probably won't see turf again for a while but the stakes-winning 2yo filly Astute has a win on each surface (didn't run in the BC).

Isn't War of Will the only winner of a Grade 1 on each surface?

I don't know. After looking at his entire record, I guess he could be considered versatile. Aside from that factor, why else do trainers switch surfaces? You are as qualified as anyone here to opine on that.
