Day trading: Bach (sometimes) Nothing (Most times)
Handicapping: Can really vary - From the precision of Mozart to the frivolity of ElvisP and many in between.
What do you listen 2?

Good question!
With racing I'm going with AFI & Incubus today
A little later, I'll throw on either the Hickory Crawdads or the Lynchburg Hillcats (minor league baseball)as I can open them in Firefox. I used to throw in an Altoona Curve game > I don't listen to the race calls probably because before I could bet from home, I'd go to the Meadowlands which didn't have the sound on during simulcasts, but I did get really good at reading lips.

I don't play it that loud
Bach is good for driving in NJ > calms the mind. Lately, the newest thing here is that "Stop" signs don't mean stop > they mean, kinda, sorta look and if ya think ya can make it, go! The only problem with that approach is that if you are gonna drive through a stop sign, make sure that you are moving else you'll be able to see the whites of my eyes

When I first started handicapping (as I called it then  ) back in the 70's my 2 favorites were Mountain's Nantucket Sleighride (the live version from The Road Goes Ever On) and Humble Pie's I Walk On Gilded Splinters (also the live version from Rockin' the Fillmore). Both longsongs over 15 minutes each. Every time I've heard them since, I go looking for a print version of the DRF.

Ya liked those long jam type songs huh? The lyrics on Nantucket Sleighride alone are goofin me out

Yup, with lots of big guitar.
I didn't know the story behind Owen Coffin until a few years ago (thanks to the Internet) and it sort of meshed with the spirit of the music, sort of mournful. The lyrics to Gilded Spliters are just as weird. 'Put gris gris on your doorstep'.
I hadn't thought about the lyrics before. Maybe they appeal to the right side of the brain
