Why are there Will Pays? Do you know? Not sure myself. Usually only when they're bet. To bet , they need to be in the first leg?

They have will pays because, Race Tracks, OTBs & ADWs accept bets before scratches are announced and also before the betting menus are adjusted for scratches.

I'm still having a puzzled mind...and appreciate it if you or anyone knows the answer.

There are no will plays for the pick3 or doubles in the image that I posted... that would indicate the tracks took no pick3 bets or doubles in the window of opportunity that they did take pick4 bets? Or that OTB's and ADW's and tracks canceled and refunded pick3's and doubles that were bet... but chose not to cancel and refund pick4 bets?


And if the pick4 bet was at 7 am....and at 9 am an entrant is scratched, then the ticket is not canceled by the OTB or ADW?? I thought that I frequently hear the word "Refund" when tracks announce late scratches that affect wagering pools NOT YET started.


Also, its not just the Willpay that made me think that these were scratches, I'm pretty certain that when I bet this Pick 4, that these entrants were not scratched from my wagering dashboard.

if your horse on the ticket is scratched in first leg then ticket is canceled then its up to you to change your ticket...
if the scr is in the other legs then you get

Yea, I guess,? People are making that suggestion.. for it to be that then you have to ask,, No one advanced a pik3 bet or double? That is highly unlikely so I can't co-sign on that theory.

Can we start to raise the idea of another platform error? Whereby bettors were able to place bets that should not have been allowed?
