Soros was comparing to 0bama and Soros' wish for a countries currency to crash so he can make pig bucks from the drop....

Exactly! "Played" is an appropriate term. Even though he has never steamrolled over any field in the TC races per se, he was always in full control in those races. He ran just fast enough to get the job done. And he's not even a need-the-lead type, as evidenced by the KY Derby.

Another thing that has impressed me about him is how easily he won the Preakness and the Belmont. Notwithstanding the beaten lengths in those races, he seemed to run effortlessly in the stretch run in those races.

And he's also a very handsome animal. Kinda like me.
