It goes without saying that while I am normally a skeptical person, even I didn't see the breadth of deceit thrown upon this country and the world by the ruling classes. It was audacious. It is alarming. I remember when Pace first started raising the red flag back in Feb/Mar that the response would be fake. Not the pandemic. Not the virus. But the response. I thought he was over the top but after a couple weeks, his predictions rang true. He's hardly been wrong on the subject.

The reality is that if we had isolated at risk people from the beginning and the rest of us gone on with our lives, we'd certainly be no worse off than we are today with the pandemic, and a damned sight better with the economy and suicides/drug overdoses. The easy thing to do was isolate the at risk people rather than tank the economy, so why did we all walk off the cliff? Politics.
