Anyone actually believe that we still won't be getting a healthy dose of 4 and 5 horse fields this winter. I could swore last year they thought 7 horses was a full field. I am hopeful that they will actually do something for the bettor, not just throw a bunch of money at horsemen and claim that it is helping the bettors. But I am not holding my breath.

Some day in the not too distant future, horse players will betting on computer generated races over the net. Race tracks will become casinos and shopping centers. And some crooner will be belting out "there used to be a race track here".
