I don't see a lot of (actually any other in my search) Villafranco positives when I search for them. I'm more willing to be forgiving of a one-time spate of positives.
The way these tests go and the levels at which things are detected, I can see someone's 24 oz Monster Energy getting knocked over into a supplement, the help NOT wanting to tell Villafranco what happened (supplements are expensive - don't want to have throw them out), and then a few days of supplement affecting a bunch of horses. (There may have been more than these 4 who would have tested positive - they're generally only testing first 3 and sometimes beaten faves).
The article I saw about the suspensions did emphasize that the Villafranco suspension ruling "cited his responsibility as the 'absolute insurer' of the condition of an entry the trainer enters regardless of the acts of a third party."
I do hope we get some clarification on the suspension (likely) having been appealed. It's not the best look for Oaklawn - which has taken a lot of positive steps this offseason - to have this situation be the "buzz" on opening day.
