No, Trakus will not “fix” the problem because the timing methodology of the teletimer at present and the Trakus methodology is different. The teletimer is recording the horse’s time at predetermined points whereas Trakus is recording the horse’s time using a speed curve that runs through the predetermined points.
What Trakus will do and is now doing, give a more accurate recording of a horse’s running performance during the race with respect to time and distance travelled. Hence the “Sartinists” will have a better metric to calculate energy distribution.
