Out of curiosity I took a look at the list of jockeys riding at Tampa and immediately connected names of high profile jocks from the Mid-Atlantic region!

GP quality of racing has been atrocious so far:last week they had some Carribe Stakes for parking lot ponies and they expected folks to handicap that farce.

Why don't they wait unit Jan 1st and make that the beginning of their winter meet like it has been in the past. Please no more than eight races per day, I am sick of all these trainer claiming races.

I only wager on Saturdays, is it so hard to put out ONE decent card per week?
The meet begins now the first week of December with the Claiming Crown. The rest of December is chock full of claimers as it should be.
January begins the real deal Stakes races. At the end of January is the Pegasus a 16m race(according to CJ it isn't and there is a separate thread on that)tomorrow there are several nice stakes races, same as on the 30th as well. Last week there were several stakes on the card, Harlans Holiday, Sugar Swirl, Rampart, Tropical Turf and My Charmer(500k in purse monies for these combined), if you can find a better card elsewhere go play it.
