True. They should have pivoted the schedule when NYRA shut down for nearly 2 weeks. Regarding Sunday, we had gotten a lot of rain here Thursday- and I think it was a bit localized so maybe not everyone got it- the course isn't drying well due to cooler days and they were clearly chewing it up and times were quite slow, but still I was still surprised. Maybe a safety concern. They still did >$5 million on a football Sunday which was >2x 9/8/19 and 2.5x 9/15/19 (with Belmont running), which speaks to why they should have been running 9/11!
