You are, of course, correct. Just wanted to say that.
Monmouth's racing product hasn't been attractive for a while now, mostly due to the same horse shortage that everyone else is dealing with except they're competing with tracks that have casinos. That's why there's always a battle for purse subsidies---other tracks have 1000 slot machines to provide subsidies. If the day ever comes, like was discussed in the spring, where PA takes the slot revenue from Parx at a much higher rate and that track returns to the purse levels it had 15 years ago, then maybe Monmouth will have a shot at getting better fields.
