one fall a few years back i tried these figures and it seemed like they had great lakes downs as being the fastest track in the country. the meet had just ended and gld shippers were popping up as top figure horses at tracks all over the place. and they weren't winning. now certainly you could say that figures usually go out the window in these shipping situations, but you still want the numbers showing up on your pps to be at least somewhat correct.
