The track that resembles US turf tracks the most is
Chester.

Trouble is, there aren't many top races run there, especially later in the year.
As far as firm turf goes, most Euro horses don't race on anything comparable.
Highland Reel took to it last year at Santa Anita, and a title defense was always going to be high on his dance card. He's not as good as others over there, and
Ulysses has performed better than him this year. However, Michael Stoute's charge was well beaten in last year's BC Turf. Why are they trying again? Probably because
Ulysses is better this year, and he may have had a legitimate excuse that day.
Both of those horses will have to be at their best to beat
Beach Patrol.
