I said above that the monthly payment is $1800, but that is a maximum. The real amount is half what you earned during your base period up to the maximum. So, when you lose your job, your pay is cut in half. If you quit your job, you’re not eligible. Your post is BS.

Living in Illinois you should know how easy it is to get unemployment benefits in some states. The offices don't investigate claims so how are they going to know if you're following the law???
