Imo, if Trump had taken the same path as Sweden when
Neil Ferguson's flawed Covid Model was released the US would be in a much better position than where we find ourselves right now.
Yes there would have been a Pandemic.
But no:
We wouldn't have locked down, and the US Economy never would have been gutted.
There wouldn't have been a push to pass that first massive spending bill or the others that followed.
As a result, inflation would be orders of magnitude lower than what we have now under the current administration.
And the Fed wouldn't be raising rates like they are now.
And on, and on, and on...
