Actually, to be fair to Pletcher, he gave
Dunkirk the same series of three workouts (4f,5f,5f)coming into the Kentucky Derby that he gave him going into the Florida Derby where he ran a 108 Beyer.
I do wonder whether
Dunkirk's Florida Derby performance took something out of him though.
