That sounds like a pretty rare case, but it happened to a friend of mine too. He's 63, a transplant patient taking immune suppressors, and has several other comorbidities. He pulled through and is fine now, but he was a pretty bad shape for awhile. He had delta.

One is 78 and one is 68. No problems previous. The 68 old works for Home Depot. Before he took the job at HD they traveled in their motorhome across the U.S. for 6+ years. He was suppose to start a new job in Ky this year, but doubt if that will happen after this.
