To tell ya the truth Dave, I don’t keep up with this crap anymore. I used to be on top of all this stuff when I was in the business. I find myself looking stuff up all the time now. One thing that drew me to the Alienware is the huge amount of items I can control and tweak. That appeals to me.
I think this will be plenty of computer for years to come

Unless you're gaming (and even if you are, this will last you a few years), this PC should be good for the life of the PC itself...lol
As for people still running XP, WHY?
Makes ZERO sense to me. You can get a DECENT PC (and I mean decent in that it will be a billion times better than whatever it is you are still running XP on) for $500 or less. And it will have Win10 on it...
Running XP is not only a security risk, it provides for a miserable existence, as evidenced by these threads.
