I found how interesting it was to see how many of A.P. Indy's descendants have taken a Classic race. Going a distance is flowing strong through A.P. Indy if you look back to Seattle Slew, Secretariat, and Princequillo. Tapit is the "Savior Of Staminia" because as long as his offspring are placing in the top 3 and winning the Belmont and people are fighting over his foals in the sales rings as well as his sky high stud fee, we have nothing to worry about when people say horses aren't bred for distance anymore and I say "Bull crap" to that. I am sure the list would have more if I counted the deceased horses.
If you look at in the money performances in the Belmont AP Indy is even better. He's a huge stamina influence (of course his sire won the Belmont too).
