I’ve been following Baffert more seriously ever since he took over the training of War Emblem just before the KY Derby. There very well may be certain current allegations and negative commentary about his training techniques.
However, let’s face it there are a handful of excellent trainers who not only get top quality stock year after year, but they know how to keep their horses happy (without using drugs) and consistently running well.
Until they ban drugs entirely you’re always going to have controversy related to these type of accusations being made particularly about successful trainers.
