My opinion, the scroll vs click just takes getting used to at first. I didn't like it, now I don't even notice. Pace Projector isn't perfect, but it does a really good job. They idea is to save time handicapping the pace scenario. It does as good a job as most handicappers can do and does so instantly.
The colored (blue = slow, red = fast) fractions or pace figures tell you instantly a race featured an extreme pace scenario. The race rating is color coded for days that were possibly speed biased. While it never will be perfect, if there is no color, there almost certainly wasn't a speed or closer bias. And, of course, the figures.
