I understand that the governor doesn't like horse racing. Get over it. He ain't going anywhere and bitching about him isn't go to change that or him. NYRA isn't going to win any kind of war with this or any governor. That is the reality of the situation. You can kiss that slot money goodbye. It is time figure out what they are going to without it.

Some day in the not too distant future, horse players will betting on computer generated races over the net. Race tracks will become casinos and shopping centers. And some crooner will be belting out "there used to be a race track here".
