Whether she did or not is not important. There is nothing illegal about opposition research and uncovering damaging information about Trump is not proof of dishonesty. Quite the opposite.
Democrats paid for the research. They did not pay for the results. In his testimony before Congress, Glenn Simpson testified that when he was approached with the request to create this dossier, he made it clear that he did not want to know what his clients hoped to find and that he would provide them with what he found regardless of its effect.
