The President is making a big deal about the Quinnipiac Poll because 66% say the economy is great or good.
In new Quinnipiac Poll, 66% of people feel the economy is “Excellent or Good.” That is the highest number ever recorded by this poll.

“The sub line is that people don’t necessarily attribute this to Mr. Trump. He gets some of the credit, but Barack Obama, does get some of the credit as well,” said Malloy.
In fact, 49% say President Obama is more responsible for the good economy. Just 40% say it’s due to President Trump.
And what did Quinnipiac find out about the President’s tweets?
Malloy says, “Americans universally want the President to put it down and stop tweeting. 69% of Americans say stop it and 49% versus 44% of Republicans say stop it. It’s a universal, demographic clean sweep.”
We don’t know if any members of the White House staff were included in this poll, but it has been widely reported that they feel the same way.
